Lifted Spoon operates a specialty-food ecommerce website for flavored sugars, product inquiries, Flavor Lab custom blend previews and optional email updates. This Privacy Policy explains what information the website may collect and how it is used.

Information we collect

Customer information

When available forms or checkout flows are used, Lifted Spoon may collect information such as name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address.

Order information

Order-related information may include products ordered, quantities, custom Flavor Lab selections, custom blend name, intended uses or preferences submitted with a custom blend, order totals and fulfillment information.

Account information

If a customer, partner, support or admin account is used, Lifted Spoon may store profile details, saved addresses, saved Flavor Lab blends, support tickets, business application details, account role and operational history needed to provide the account experience.

Payment information

Payment information may be processed by Stripe when checkout is configured. Lifted Spoon stores payment status, order identifiers and Stripe reference identifiers, but should not store complete credit or debit card numbers.

Automatic and technical information

The site uses a first-party analytics session cookie to understand site activity such as page views, product views, Flavor Lab visits, add-to-cart activity and checkout-start activity. The analytics model stores a hashed session identifier, page path, referrer where available, approximate device category, browser family, event name, limited event metadata and timestamps. The implementation does not store raw IP addresses for analytics and does not attempt precise GPS location or invasive fingerprinting. This site also includes Vercel Analytics. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar or advertising-network integrations were found in the current codebase.

How information is used

Information may be used to process orders, prepare and fulfill products, provide customer service, communicate about orders, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain the website, improve products and the site experience, comply with applicable obligations and send marketing email only where appropriate consent or signup exists.

Email and new flavor notifications

Customers may optionally sign up for updates about new flavors, product releases, store updates and promotions. Marketing signup is optional. Placing an order should not automatically enroll a customer in marketing email unless the checkout flow separately obtains appropriate consent. Marketing emails should include an unsubscribe or preference-management option when email service is configured.

Information sharing

Lifted Spoon may share information with service providers needed to operate the store, such as payment processors, shipping or fulfillment providers, website hosting and infrastructure providers, email providers and analytics providers actually used by the site. Lifted Spoon does not claim to sell personal information based on the current implementation.

Security and retention

Lifted Spoon uses reasonable safeguards appropriate for a small ecommerce website, but no Internet system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be retained as reasonably necessary for orders, customer service, business records, legal or tax obligations, and fraud or security prevention.

Children

The Lifted Spoon website is a food ecommerce site and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. The site does not currently include an age-verification system.

Privacy requests and policy changes

Customers may use [email protected] for privacy questions, corrections, deletion requests where applicable, or marketing preference requests. This policy may be updated as the store changes; the effective or last-updated date on this page will reflect updates. Lifted Spoon does not promise individual email notice of every policy change unless a future system supports that process.
